The Minimum Public Shareholding (‘MPS’) requirements for
listed companies have been stipulated in Regulation 38 of
SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements)
Regulations, 2015 (‘LODR’), which mandates that a listed
entity shall comply with MPS requirements as specified in
Rule 19(2) and 19A of the Securities Contracts (Regulation)
Rules, 1957 (‘SCRR’).
